AGF Mitra Line 001 is turning out to be a very fast growing buckling now weighing 40 kilos. He will be a very good herdsire for any Anglo Nubian breed improvement program.
AGF 001 was born last August 14th, an outstanding buckling from our proven AGF 182, a Mitra Line doe. Mitra Line 001 is a good looking buckling with show type features. He is a sibling of AGF 1011 a big hit in the 2008 Agri Link Show at the World Trade Center. His sire is AGF Darwyn a very dependable show type imported Purebred Anglo Nubian Buck from Australia. He was born a single kid and weighed 4 kilos at kidding.
As a breeder everytime we see something like AGF Mitra Line 001 we feel proud and rewarded for all the time and hard work we are doing for our Mitra Line Breed Improvement Program. We continue to make big progress with our Mitra Line herd, by bench marking and propagating the good features of the Mitra Line. Next year by this time of the year we will be even better with our Mitra Line, watch out for it.
